A sea of fire surrounded the town, and there was no escape. The authorities closed down the highways Questions skimmed through Ace's head like a book. "Where do we go? Which moron started this?" Ace dropped down to his knees; it was hopeless. He glared at the trees as they spewed up in flames, and he saw houses burn down right before his eyes. There was no getting out of this one.
