All Alone

This is the story of Ross Wesley Travis whose life started out with his mother dying the day after he was born. His dad, Hap Travis finds Lois Johnson who has just lost her baby to come live with them to nurse and take care of Ross. She brings her daughter, Jane who is 5. They become a family of sorts. Due to some interesting circumstances Ross joins the Army and is sent to Korea where he earns 3 Purple Hearts and 1 Silver Star before the age of 22. He was injured on his last mission and has been sent back to the states to get medical treatment where he meets Dr. Kara Rolling. Who is an eye specialist at the Army Hospital. Unfortunate things start to happen with Dr. Kara and life starts to take an unusual turn.
