Hustling is in his blood. Raleek "Lil Ra" Tate came by it naturally. His father Big Ra's name still rings bells in the streets. But it's a new day, a new age, a new generation as Lil Ra steps to the plate. With the backing of his boys, Lil Ra gets put on by Fish, a major player in the Queens drug trade. Brick by brick, Ra and his boys quickly gain ghetto superstar status. Soon they are running with the big dogs. They've got everything on lock, their pockets have the mumps, and they are loved and feared by many. But in the word of Biggie, "mo money, mo problems." With fame and notoriety come jealousy, betrayal, murder, stick up kids, and unwanted attention. It's all about the paper, but is it worth it? R. Kevin Taylor delivers a gritty street drama and he does it well. You know an author has done a good job when you are rooting for drug dealers and murderers. R. Kevin Taylor uses his "street credentials" to pen a novel that holds readers attention from beginning to end with never a dull moment. All About the Paper is a very promising debut and you won't be disappointed. I do hope there is a sequel because I'd like to keep up with Ra and his clique. I respected his gangsta and how he always looked out for the fam. Looking forward to reading more from R. Kevin Taylor and Taylor Made Books. Reviewed by: Toni
