"Erwan Atcheson's 'Aliens Versus Football' is a cute, funny, and creative book for earthlings of all ages I thought this was a children's book but it is more of a middle grade chapter book. Laura the stories protagonist ends up in another world where she is supposed to help a group of monsters/creatures/aliens win a football (soccer in US) championship. Laura doesn't know anything about the game and doesn't enjoy it so the story is quite humorous and lighthearted. ... overall it captured my attention and was an easy read. I think this book is best suited for children ages 8-11, but this could be a fun book for parents to read with their younger children as well. Overall, this was a pretty good story."
