ALIENS and I: art, comments, stories

Dear Readers,

This little book, there is a bigger and more expensive version but only for the US and UK only, which is about 50 pages long, was created because of the display I'm using now, my TV which is 50"

Most of the pictures, with the exception of two that are new or original, were adapted, in general widening using copy and paste, giving them a different feeling, not only on paper but on a wall if necessary.

The comments and stories that follow are a reflection of my own quirks, shaped by my experiences living in Africa, the ideas that have sparked in my mind, and even a recent accident that kept me out of action for two months, with part of that time spent in hospital.

As a British citizen, I've been thinking a lot about our lives and the things that have been in the news lately, like Brexit and all those stories about aliens who change sex every day (my take).

They can be both male and female on the same day, so they can be male-male, male-female, or female-female. To me, they don't have any gender problems. They also don't speak, they communicate telepathically.

In some places of the word, ALIENS also mean immigrants. I have never referred to them in that sense, but this time I created a subtle image and story imagining a possible confusion.

As an artist, I had to find a way of thinking and giving what I created an inner value.
