Alexander helps a baby goat: Alexander's homestead adventures

By Jeremy Scott Phillips

A tiny bleat. Four wobbly legs. One gentle helper

When Alexander discovers that Maple the goat has welcomed a newborn kid, he cannot wait to help. With Mom's patient guidance and Dad's steady hands, Alexander learns that caring for a baby animal means moving quietly, watching closely, keeping its home warm and clean, and knowing when to ask an expert for help.

As little Sprout takes his first shaky steps, drinks his important first milk, and discovers the joy of bouncing through the grass, Alexander learns tender lessons about responsibility, patience, and kindness.

Filled with bright, heartwarming illustrations and simple facts about newborn goat care, Alexander Helps a Baby Goat is a delightful read-aloud adventure for young animal lovers and curious little homesteaders.
