This was where two of the three escapees were born, where they committed crimes, and where they served time. The book examines the 1958 robbery of the Bank of Columbia, Alabama, that sent the Anglin Brothers to Federal prison. It reports that the escapees returned to the region in the years after the 1962 escape.
