If there's any justice this side of the Pearly Gates, it resides in the eye of a fair-minded biographer. Not only does Brian Brennan give overdue credit and redress neglect, but he makes sense of the province's past by revisiting the lives of Alberta's dear departed.Alberta Originals is a great whack of stories about people who built this province through sheer force of personality... I so enjoyed Brennan I went out and bought Building a Province, the first book of the series... If there's any earthly justice, Brian Brennan will one day be written up in some future work on Alberta originals.
