When Freeport Middle School's football team has a 6-week winning streak, Alan Murphy suspects that his friend, Brent, has something to do with the sudden improvement by the team. At the next game, Alan notices that the opposition players are falling down at critical points in the game and whatever device is being used is pure Bren Blakely.
