Al-yadual belongs to the A2 or Pre-intermediate level and aims at providing the student with all those tools that enable him/her to describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need. The contents are distributed in 12 units covering different topics such as habits, climate, environment, sports, culture, professional life... The starting point in each unit is listening. The student will first hear the new vocabulary and structures, and sometimes images and pictures are used to help understanding. Then, the reading and writing skills are developped. This method corresponds to a pre- intermediate level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference and covers approximately 160 contact hours of instruction.
