Jaffee and Meglin at their wacky best

Al Jaffee illustrates and Nick Meglin composed the material in this book and they were at their wacky best when they did so. While the rhymes are not always of the highest quality: "Hickory dickory, dock, the mice ran up the clock; The clock struck one. The others will attend his funeral service on Tuesday." they are all funny. If you are looking for a few grins based on the silliness of the Mad magazine genre, then this is the book for you.
