Detective Knowles is a seasoned member of the Atlanta Police Department. He has seen his fair share of crime in the city and has always been dedicated to bringing criminals to justice. In his latest investigation, he and his partner, Detective Ayanna Ali, were tasked with taking down The Street Kings, a notorious criminal organization that had been wreaking havoc on the city for years.

While working undercover to infiltrate the group, Ayanna began dating Donovan "Don" King, one of their members. But when Knowles exposed her to the department, she was fired and her relationship with Don ended abruptly. When Don disappears, Ayanna takes it upon herself to track him down, leading her all the way to New Jersey.

Meanwhile, Knowles becomes convinced that the Street Kings are responsible for Ayanna's disappearance and sets out to take them down by any means necessary. He resorts to using corrupt tactics to gain information and put pressure on the group, including run-ins with Ace, one of their key members. As tensions rise between Knowles and the Street Kings, we see how far the detective is willing to go in order to take them down.
