Bought out of interested in HIV/AIDS infection, due to having two friends whom contracted HIV. It is a simplified guide to HIV infection, treatments, drugs, opportunistic infections and end-of-life issues. It's great for friends and family members of HIV+ people, Those that just got the bad news, nursing students, Pre-Med/Pre-Dentistry students, Psychology students, other healthcare and law enforcement. Anyone that is interested in an overview of this disease but doesn't get indepth into the micro-biology and chemistry of this disease

This book is for the provider who is completely new to HIV. Good book to learn the basics. Not recommended for anything heavier.
