Both the topic of artificial intelligence and that of sustainability are, nowadays, on everyone's lips. The salvific and at times horrific vision of artificial intelligence is juxtaposed with the sometimes spasmodic interest in the issue of sustainability. Both topics of conversation are mostly abused, misquoted and lacking the necessary concreteness, something we have tried to remedy in some ISR Institute publications.[1] So far, however, we have not found any discussion or commentary dedicated to investigating the possible interactions, the points of contact between the two themes. Therefore, being convinced that the points of contact are there, we decided to first of all investigate the possible integrations between AI and management systems, especially the ISO 14001 system. We then analyzed the latest reflections on sustainability issues, at COP 28 and the World Economic Forum, comparing them with our vision on the usefulness of Artificial Intelligence. Finally, we showed how Istituto ISR's solutions in the field of artificial intelligence can affect the most concrete aspect of the issue of sustainability, i.e. ESG analysis.
