Actually, there really aren't any other books on the subject of employee retention. There are a lot of books that talk about motivation, or benefits, and so on, but I haven't found a book that directly takes on the whole issue in a practical, well-reasoned manner. Until now. This book is relatively brief (125 pages, you can read it on an airplane flight.) Despite its length, it packs a ton of wisdom, suggestions, tips and logic into its contents. Read this book you'll understand the employee's true perspective, the real needs and how to provide for them without breaking the bank. I especially like the ideas of how a small company can provide the same benefits as huge corporations. (There are also lots of other ways that a small company can compete with the giants for the very best employees.)Like I said, this short book is tall on content. It is also a lot of fun to read. You'll enjoy Turner's wit and attitude; he really drives his points home. This is a cracker-jack business book. You'll pick up a lot of insight for your ten bucks.
