Against All Odds: A Book About Faith, Forgiveness, and Hope

This is a book about FAITH, FORGIVENESS, AND HOPE, victory against Satan. It is the life story of a young girl who lived in a small SW Virginia town, Big Stone Gap, and later when she was almost a teenage, relocated to Washington, DC and became a born again Christian within 3-4 years. As she grew in her faith and in the Word of God, she discovered the teachings of Jesus about forgiving our enemies and as it happened she had been sexually abused from the age of five. She struggled to come to grips with the idea that God not only wanted her to forgive her offender, but required it. When she finally obeyed and submitted to God, she enjoyed a peace she had never known before. Later after meeting and marrying her husband, they entered into full-time ministry in 1973, and at their 3rd church, her husband was falsely accused by both church members and church leadership, and eventually, they were asked to leave their denomination after faithfully serving in it for a number of years. They discovered they could only be set free spiritually as they forgave those who had hurt, rejected, slandered, and treated them with treachery in church ministry.
