Afterword: Poems

By: Blanshard, Susan

'Afterword', is Susan Blanshard's master stroke of poetry achievement.

'Afterword' is the space where the future, present and past reside. 'Afterword' seen through Susan Blanshard's artful use of words, uncovers and free's the wandering spirit.

'Afterword' exposes the emotional sea that surges beneath mere words. Here, acknowledgement of the human spirit is evident, not separable from ever-day life.

Susan's poetic use of words releases the soul from time's shackles.

Susan brings a variety of past, present, and future worlds to life by reversing and elaborating traditional stanzas and bringing soothsaying echoes to light. A stunning achievement of mastering time, and the emotional effects on the spirit of human life.
