Jack Montgomery is a police officer who was always willing to help protect the citizens in his beat. But when the President dies and the rest of the federal government implodes under the weight of national debt, Jack faces a new job challenge. Keeping those close to him alive. Living off the land, trading with neighbors and fending off bandits, the group conforms to a new way of life.
