After the Fall

By Ellis Grayson

After the Fall is the second book in The Fall Series.

Six months after society's collapse, Derek leads a fractured group of survivors through the ruins of Kinross and New Haven. Amid mindless undead and power-hungry opportunists, Derek's burden as a reluctant leader grows heavier - especially when the woman he loves is struck down in a brutal ambush. With his closest allies divided, and whispers of a second lab tied to the outbreak surfacing, Derek must confront not only the walking dead, but the weight of every life he's failed to protect. And if humanity's last hope is buried in secrets, Derek will have to decide: does survival mean sacrificing what's left of your soul?Six months after society's collapse, Derek and his fractured group of survivors are still fighting to stay alive in a world overrun by the dead.

But survival is no longer enough.

As new threats emerge and power-hungry opportunists prove that the living can be just as dangerous as the undead, Derek finds himself carrying an increasingly heavy burden. Every decision has consequences, and every person who looks to him for leadership is another life he could fail to protect.

In the search for somewhere they can finally call home, the survivors begin building New Haven, a place where they might do more than simply exist. A place where they might actually have a future.

But as tensions grow within the group and whispers of another lab connected to the outbreak begin to surface, Derek is forced to confront a disturbing possibility: the world they lost may have been hiding secrets far more dangerous than the dead.

If New Haven is to survive, Derek will have to decide how far he is willing to go to protect it.

Because building a new life is one thing. Keeping it alive is another.
