In effort to take total control over the world's population, a group of men launch a world wide attack. Without power, the survivors of the attack are thrust into a life once again based on hunting and gathering. Gabriel Calloway selfishly sends his wife, Ava, and their son to be protected by his younger brother, Tucker. As Gabe heads into the city to save himself, he finds that he is the one man that can save the people that still remain. Now their only hope, he sends for Tucker to join him in the fight. However, in his absence, he has lost the one thing he never thought he'd lose: his wife's heart to his brother. Rather than fight each other, the brothers find that they are lost together in the violence of survival. Gabe and Tucker must choose instead to fight the enemy to live.
