Quietly Brilliant Superhero

Many people wonder, many people still hurt, most of us send our sympathies but Kathy Sanders hits the road in a relentless search for the truth. This courageous bereaved "grandmother" has spent a decade of her life working not just for her two grandchildren and her daughter, but for all Americans' right to know what really happened 4/19/95 in Oklahoma City, and why. To read this book is to fall in love with her passion, her determination and then to look inside yourself to discover if you could do the same. She's a gift to us all. The book is powerful, sincere and revealing. Get it, read it, and reawaken.

This is a rock solid book - Ms. Sanders is to be commended.

This book is based on several sources of irrefutable information pertaining to the OKC bombing. It is refreshing to see a victim's family member offer more than just the emotional side of their terrible loss. The emotional account of any tragedy doesn't present the whole story. After the grieving stopped and every one of OKC bombing victim's family members and survivors were lied to, ignored and patronized by political leaders and law enforcement supervisors; these same family members and survivors continued to ask for answers that made sense. Unfortunately, these answers have been explained away with the USJD's factually bankrupt version of events. As one that continues to research the bombing case with a dedicated group of citizens and retired law enforcement officers, I know first hand that Ms. Sanders has NOT stopped searching for the ENTIRE truth surrounding the OKC bombing. Ms. Sanders is well spoken, forthright and focused with the information she offers in - After Oklahoma City. She holds several top USJD supervisors accountable for their criminal incompetence because they completely ignored relevant facts and destroyed physical evidence connected with the OKC bombing. These USJD supervisors and their colleagues need to sit up straight and pay attention to what Ms. Sanders has to say. Just because they choose to ignore the facts of this case doesn't mean these facts don't exist. And most importantly, why should any of us want to remember the deaths of the Oklahoma City bombing victims in a lie? Ms. Sanders refuses to. Please read this book and find out why.

Sorry JD

Kathy and Glenn were the first to begin a serious investigation into the Oklahoma City bombing. Many reporters, including JD Cash, were indebted to them for what they alone uncovered, and they have volumes of copies of government documents to prove it. Kathy tells a compelling story of triumph out of such a horrible loss. It's a MUST READ!

Incredible, Powerful, Investigative, Heart Wrenching

After Oklahoma City is a very powerful read. Sanders continues to humanize the enormity of this tragedy and reminds us that we must never forget the devastation of that horrendous day. The book is written in a conversational and colorful style. Sanders also brilliantly captures what she feels happened with the investigation. What Sanders uncovered throughout her grieving process is shocking. This book makes us all re-think what we're led to believe. I applaud the writer for not being spoon fed the news. I could not put this book down, not even for a minute.

I am a very close friend of this family and was disgusted to read Mr. Cash's review of this lovely, factful book. If I remember correctly, J.D. Cash met the Wilburn family long after they had begun their journey and investigation. I remember the files and files of evidence that were neatly compiled in a cabinet in the kitchen of Mrs. Sanders. I remember the trips she and her husband, Glenn, went on (to meet with witnesses) and the countless interviews they did with TV and newspaper reporters, trying to uncover the truth. Mr. Cash seems to be nothing more than jealous. He ought to be ashamed of himself. GROW UP MR. CASH! YOU'VE HAD TEN YEARS TO WRITE YOUR OWN BOOK. IF THERE WAS ANY TRUTH TO WHAT YOU ARE SAYING, I THINK YOU WOULD HAVE DONE IT BY NOW. Stop trying to victimize this family over again.
