After Man

A police helicopter, in hot pursuit of two bank robbers, breaks into restricted air space, near Area 51, with the police helicopter and bank robbers being transported 200 years into the future, where the human race is divided between predator and....prey.James and his brother, Zack have just robbed a bank, in order to save the life of James' only son, who is dying from cancer. As James and Zack speed through the desert, near Area 51, a police helicopter, piloted by Greg, a hardened police officer and Meleah, an attractive female rookie, pick up the chase. Unwilling to let James and Zack escape into the darkness, Greg ignores Meleah's pleas to break off the pursuit, as they've entered restricted air space and face the possibility of being shot down. Suddenly, ominous and dark clouds, accompanied by unnatural lightning strikes, begin to intensify. As the helicopter chases the speeding truck, there is a sudden blast of light. The truck begins to lose power, as it slows to a stop. The helicopter loses its power and begins to spin, a deadly prelude to crashing. As the helicopter crashes, it narrowly misses hitting the truck. When James, Zack, Greg, and Meleah recover from their harrowing brush with death, they look around and realize that they're in a place, different from where they just entered. In the near distance, they see a flashing object and realizing that the helicopter and truck are beyond repair, as well as all of their electronics being fried, they begin to walk towards the object. They reach the object and discover that it's an old crash site of a military airplane. Exhausted, they set up camp and try to comfort themselves. As darkness covers them, they begin to hear wild, terrorizing sounds...sounds they've never heard before. Suddenly, a blurred shape runs out of the darkness, grabs a screaming Greg, and then disappears into the darkness. There's a brief pause and then the screams from Greg causes the survivors to realize that they're not alone. The next day, in searching the crashed military airplane, they discover that they've been transported 200 years into the future. As they face the dismal news that they have no way of returning to the past, they discover that the human race has been divided into predator and....prey.
