Short Wink and Nod to Follow Up the Series

I finished off Dead Ever After in my revisit to the seriesand thought, why not, I'll cap it off with the After Dead follow up. This time, I was not in shock over the format or the brevity. I knew what I was getting with this short, brief compendium-list style of revisit to the characters of the series. And, because I inadvertently took my own advice and read it right after I finished the series, I knew who all those people were. Haha! It was a fun wink at the series that had me chuckling over several characters' fates, but also did the job of showing where people ended up down the road of life well after the end of the series. Now, some, like were hinted at in After Dead, went on to appear in further novellas and books, but others finished their stories here so I was glad to have my curiosity satiated. While, I admit that I did find something lacking when it came to our Sookie's bit- not because of who she was with, but because it was too little for me. But, all in all, this brief series of notes on several secondary and main characters did what it promised.
