His gripping debut tells the story of a man caught up in a criminal plot. He finds himself catapulted into a dangerous situation in the back streets of Edinburgh and Glasgow, then back to the serene beauty of rural Kintyre -- and even greater danger.
I’m not quite finished reading this book, but I am really enjoying it. This is a good read for anyone who has read and enjoyed Peter May’s books that take place in Scotland.
Excellent read!

Colin Murray's first novel is brilliant. He evokes the dreary, ancient atmosphere of Scotland in November and peppers his story with believable, albeit somewhat evil, characters. His main character, Iain Lewis, is fully realized. Lots of humor here and an amazingly told story. I burned through this book in a week (that's quick for me)! Highly recommended!
