From a humble beginning in the frozen land of Minnesota to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Richard Adkins' life spent serving an awesome God has been an adventure. At the age of three, when his parents took him to Africa for the very first time, he fell in love with the continent and its peoples. Living in Africa he had the privilege of learning multiple languages, ministering to a variety of people in various countries. He and his siblings experienced living off the land, harvesting what God provided. Hunting for food and facing the dangerous animals that lived nearby was not without challenge. His life's story is filled with intrigue, challenges, love, family and most of all, an ever-faithful God who directed his journey.
