Jessyka Chin Sang is born in Montreal, Canada. She is originally Chinese, Jamaican and French Canadian. She has travelled all her life but at the age of 21, she had decided to embark on a life changing journey to Africa and the Middle East. After graduating from fashion design school, she felt the need to escape her modern lifestyle and experience a place she had been longing to see. The young girl left for a two-month journey from which she returned transformed. After losing herself and finding her new meaning in life, she decided to write about her experiences in this debut memoir. Jessyka also writes for travel blogs and brings her contributions around the world. She loves to share parts of her experiences and advice to young travellers seeking adventure. Her fearless personality keeps her running around the globe, finding new opportunities to satisfy her hunger for life. She is about to leave on a brand new journey.
