Affliction: Dungeon Earth Two

Having just defeated the Orc horde in Yelm, it is time to begin the mop up from the massive battle. When the dungeon the monsters came from is run by the company of Dwarves, they make a startling discovery. A discovery that is both disturbing and elating at the same time. Eventually, the army does split up and head for their respective homes.

There are only two real issues Dale Rentoran has to deal with when he gets home. One is to figure out what to do with the five hundred refugees of what people from before The Change thought was a mythical race. The second is how to create a settlement in a remote wilderness where there has never been one before. More importantly, how does he keep the refugee volunteers from the dungeon in Yelm, who will populate it, alive there through the fast approaching winter.

Dale's hopes of spending a quiet winter at home until the spring adventuring season starts up are quickly dashed. Not only does the emergency quest dumped on him by his Quest Monger to come to the aid of a nearby city prove to be not at all what it seems, but the Paladin is also called on to save an entire region via a holy quest. One that will take him thousands of miles away from his pregnant wife.
