The Adventures of Kazu and Gil: Gil's Favorite Day

By Jennifer Faus

Book Overview

It's me, Kazu!

Meet Kazu, a fun-loving four-year-old. Every Saturday Kazu escapes his all-girls house to his cousin Gil's all-boys house. Kazu says that Saturday is Gil's favorite day because he helps Gil with his chores. Follow along as Kazu helps Gil garden, clean the pool, paint the shed, and wash the dog. Whimsical and hilarious, the text and illustrations juxtapose Kazu's view of the day with Gil's. At day's end, Kazu can't wait for the next Saturday while Gil, his dads, and the dog are exhausted. This delightful story with bright, engaging illustrations celebrates the boisterous conviviality of young boys and the bonds of a loving family.
