This book is exciting and has many great twist in the plot. Don't judge it by the description, it is alot more than the run of the mill "alternate universe" sci-fi.

This is absloutly a must read for anyone with an intrest in sci-fi or fantasy. I could not put the book down. The story is told through the journals of the people involved in the story. Its an descriptive story of an exploration into an alternate universe. But its not like so many other books and movies...theres no space travel. The other universe exists on a plane coexistant to ours. Set in the 1970's its low tech, but still very exciting. The plot has quite a few unexpected twists. and leaves you really wanting more. It says volume one, and I just can't wait for more from this exciting series!

It was extremely difficult to put this book down once I started it! A truly captivating believable fictional plot about a military inspired journey into another world. The author pays particular attention to military details written to give the impression that THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING! A British flair to this writing style. I was totally caught off guard by the turn of events at the end of the book which leaves me craving for the next volume in the series..................
