I had this book on my wish list for several weeks. I had my daughter order it for me elsewhere. I just got it in the mail an hour ago. It wasn't what I was expecting. The other Bible Journaling books that I have are full of colorful designs with beautiful lettering for you to jump start your ideas or copy. This has 6 pictures that show portions of how the author has illustrated the verses, but they aren't close enough pictures to get any real detail of what she has done. On the other hand, the Bible study is insightful. I was raised in the Baptist Church and joined the Mennonite Church 18 years ago... The thought of an advent wreath is new to me. The information about Liturgical Year was new to me. The colors of advent was also a new concept. Although I haven't applied any of the inspiration, I have read over half of the book. It is a low stress challenge to put Christ back into Christmas.
