Some people choose to tell their story as a fantasy, others like to deliver their story as it is.

Lia and Kylie tell their stories of false love. Kylie is a transwoman who grows a quick bond with a person who has some sort of fascination for her. Lia meets a girl who seems to be the light that she has been craving since her mom left her.

Trevor and Keith explore identity. Trevor's story of surviving as a transman and forging his own path; Keith reunites with a childhood friend and rediscovers more about themselves together.

And lastly, Ria and Hayden attempt to conquer rage. Hayden uses their dreams to confront and destroy what bothers them in the real world. Ria gets her last chance to reconnect with her sister by reopening old wounds, whether she wants to or not.

But now three of these teenagers have suddenly woken up as new beings with new minds on a beach. They are now Nadia, a girl who casts flames and disappears once the moon rises; Namir, a boy who controls the tides of the ocean and disappears when the sun rises; and Cece, a girl who can also control the ocean like Namir but does not disappear at any point of the day like Namir and Nadia.

Sometimes together, sometimes separately, they try to figure out what happened to them before waking up on that beach.
