Adolescence in a Poem

This anthology is truly a reflection of my adolescent years. I've done a lot of writing in the past 18 years and poetry came to me during a dark period in my life. I am fortunate to have returned to a healthy mental state, but I wanted to bring these poems to light and share how the teenage brain feels. Hormone changes, vulnerability, and a sense of entitlement is something everyone faces during adolescence. This anthology goes through all of the emotions and will hopefully serve as a way to help others feel as if they are not alone. Whether you are fourteen, eighteen, or thirty reading this, I believe it will impact you. I am grateful to be able to share my life experiences through writing, and I hope that it inspires someone else along the way. Everyone deserves to see tomorrow. I was able to make light of my darkness and that is something I will always be proud of.
