Adios, Eva: A brave woman who persevered

I want to honor my mother. She was a woman that never gave up and gave her all for her children. Politics on immigration reflect understandings of citizenship and ideas of what types of groups "belong" in American society. I'd like to give some perspective and a different view on the erred labels that undocumented immigrants are heinous criminals, abusers of federal government benefits, and that they are cultural, economic, or social threats. I love this country as much as my mother loved it and I want to walk you through our journey.
