I wrote this memoir in 2021 for my grandparents...Agnes and Steve Adams. I wrote it for their three still-living children. And I wrote it for all of the 382 blood-line grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
But mostly, I wrote it for all of you who will come later. The great-great-great-greats. Those of you who will never know them. Those of you who will never have the privilege to enjoy even a snippet of a memory of them. I hope that all of you, both today and in those future great-great-great-great generations, will read, remember, and cherish their adventures and experiences. This book exists for only one reason: to shine a light on their lives and keep Steve and Agnes Adams alive in your hearts.
