Acts records the history of the church. The Book of Acts is a bridge between the Gospels and the Epistles. The Book of Acts furnishes a ladder on which to place the Epistles. It would be great to read the Epistles and Acts together because Acts gives the history of the founding of the churches to which the Epistles are directed. Dr. Luke, the writer of Acts, is recognized as a great historian.
