Active Methodologies Mediated by Generative Artificial Intelligence

The purpose of this study is to analyze the contributions of active methodologies (AM) to the learning process and the holistic development of children in early childhood education, considering the emerging role of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) as a resource to support instructional planning. It is based on the understanding that early childhood education must respect the child's central role, play as a structuring axis, and qualified teacher mediation-fundamental elements for cognitive, social, and socioemotional development in early childhood. The study adopts a qualitative, exploratory, and bibliographic approach, grounded in a review of national and international literature published between 2015 and 2025.
