A breakthrough inspiration

I am a Christian from Hong Kong. I read this book and found many interesting & inspirating points about spreading the Gospel. You will be very exciting when you read this book because it does not only tell you that spreading Gospel is a must to Christian, but rather it tells you that Gospel can be very attractive by its own. I agree with this point. Gospel itself is already interesting and attractive, not like many people think Gospel is boring. Thanks to the author to write this book to the world. I appreciate very much. Thanks God!

Practical and refreshing

Ms. Sinsabaugh does an excellent job reminding us that our faith should never get too complicated that we loose sight of the joy-filled life Christ wants us to live. This book contains refreshing simple concepts that make you say, "I think I knew that already but....why aren't I doing anything about it!" How good it is to be reminded that our faith should draw people to Christ and not scare them away. Very practical ideas! I enjoyed it so much I bought copies for friends involved in ministry.

A QUICK DISCLAIMER FROM THE AUTHOR

So what's the deal with this book? After spending years in advertising, I thought it was time to write about something more important than snap! crackle! pop!. While ACT NOW! is about making your personal testimony as much fun as your average commerical, I have found that those who are not brand-loyal to Christianity enjoy reading it as well, getting a sample taste of God's goodness. It reads like a back of a cereal box, not like a theology journal. In a nutshell, ACT NOW reminds us that the most important thing about sharing our faith is simple: never tell people they need Christ, simply make them want HIM, the way they do brownies, pork rinds, and chocolate almond Haagan Daz. Considering ACT NOW costs about the same as two value meals from your favorite fast food drive-through, it's great food for thought, for all ages. But like everything else, there is a possible side effect from reading this book--you'll have more fun sharing your faith (sorry--no dizzy spells or drymouth). I hope you enjoy it.
