Across the Lonesome Skies

This volume comprises verses reflecting a wide range of human emotions and ex-periences, not necessarily the author's own. It attempts to grapple with forces impacting the lives of people here on earth by using images appealing to the senses in bringing these to the fore. I write to present different perspectives, to evoke, to show humanity underlying all themes in life, and to open new vistas. For me, poetry has always been a matter of honesty, more of heart than art. I write what I feel; I feel what I write.
It is my sincerest hope that you, the reader, will find in these pages some-thing of value, something that appeals to your senses and intellect, and something that converges with your life's journeys. And I hope that in turning these pages you will find something that transcends all borders-racial, political, religious, or intellectual-and beats a happy pathway to your heart.
