Thorough and functional

This book is useful both to students and to practicing clinicians. It explores anatomy and pathology thoroughly and has detailed sections on almost any aquired neurologial communication disorder.Unfortunately there are few diagrams in the book however those present are able to illustrate their point with such clarity that they will be referred to again and again as teaching tools.The text addresses each pathology in a functional framework, enabling the reader to apply the information to real people. This is an admirable quality in a book which is designed to be used by students and clinician.This book, while useful as a student, continues to be useful long after training as it has a depth of detail within each section to satisfy the most experienced clinician.
