The spacecraft ACHILLES approaches the planet Jupiter. Ιτ is on a special mission of NASA, in order to study the "red giant". This is the most ambitious mission ever launched from planet earth. But it will nerver reach its destination. ACHILLES will fall on the moon Ganymede of the planet Jupiter. From the fall only a few members of the crew will survive. Soon they will find themselves fighting not only for their survival but also for their mental salvation. The fall will lead to a chain of events on Earth where it will affect the lives of many people and lead them to question and reconsider their own course so far.
