Brilliant , Sad & Strong

This is a great translation of Alki Zei auto-biography, that gives a great introduction to post occupation (WWII) Greece. The story, typical of many of the intellectual families, is beautifully told, and brings to life a whole period of history from the view of a damaged generation. A must especially for non-greeks.
