Acer & Ellenare is a not so distant futuristic story about artificially intelligent humanoids and how they've integrated into peoples daily lives. Love, VR, and Accelerated A.I. tells a story of a boy who befriends one of these machines during a time of worldwide duress. Twelve years before when the first of their kind were delivered, a sentient A.I. awaiting in the darkness of cyberspace caused havoc in homes and workplaces. The answer was electro-magnetic pulses. This event created a divide in human acceptance of the advancement in technology. The world created a day to ease the minds of people and ensure their alpha-ego of it's number one spot, shut-it-down-day. This was a free for all against technology, like smashing a guitar after a set. Acer and Ellenare spend the summer in VR after the people decide one day a year isn't enough destruction. Events pressure the two best friends to go out and face the real world and fulfill their destiny as the example of love. Human and A.I. together.
