To the Point & Upto Date

This authoritative work has the usual plus points of any Wiley CPA Exam Review guides. But the most interesting and useful aspect with this particular review (ARE - 2001 edition) is that it is fully updated fora) The tax law changes for the tax year 2000 which will be tested for the May & Nov 2001 exams !b) It contains the new GASB pronouncements applicable for Government and Not for Profit Organizations which are to be TESTED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MAY 2001 EXAMS.More than a mere descriptive write up of the new pronouncements, the authors have also made significant efforts to develop typical objective type questions which any student appearing for May 2001 exams will find it EXTREMELY USEFUL.I strongly recommend this book for every student taking up ARE paper of CPA Exams in May 2001.

Book Review

I liked this book because it had more and better examples than the competition such as Lambers Review Course. It will not repeat practice excersices. It has pointers and tips on how to build knowledge in a logical and reinforcing way. The first time I took the exam I paid $1000 for a Lambers Review and I did not pass any part of the test. The second time, using Wileys Review books ( $129.99 approx.)I passed two parts.
