After an attempted suicide, Ramon loses his savings in a
night of reckless gambling. When he's abducted by a mysterious
woman, Valentine, he finds himself on the run from authorities
- a desperate chase through a sinister city that sees him
inducted into a bizarre, gothic dance club. Before being
drugged unconscious, Ramon is told of debts incurred by his
father, debts which the club Manager insists Ramon must
now repay. He wakes in an alleyway the next day to find
strangers living in his apartment, his employer and even his own
mother fail to recognize him. In a frenzied search for identity the
night propels Ramon into the real crisis - because life's not
