This work is more poetry derived after I published the book Garvanza Heights which grew from reading haiku poetry. This appealed to me then, and still does, reminding me of high school and college English classes long forgotten, still resurrected.Haiku continues to guide me to sonnets and many other works. They are expressed with rhythm, romance, romance, form, desire, happiness, affection, love, lust, anger, hate, and fear. They give me the opportunity to use uncommon words such as azygous, pulchritude, and specious to paint mental pictures, to sculpture ideas and songs of thought. Many of the poems here work with syllables as in haiku or tanka poetry or may use the same number of syllables in each succeeding line.Read these poems, too, with a friend or loved one for a beautiful, sensuous experience.
