About "Me Too" And the Bible: Joining the "Me Too" Movement for Old Times Sake!

This is a story of betrayal. This is a story of rape. This is a story of a kidnapping. This is a story of deceit and drama.
This is a true story based on events of what happened to me and how my life completely changed. In this narrative I wrote about something I had put away in a shelf in the subconscious of my mind. There was a time in my life when I was happy. There was a time in my life when life was good. This story tells about how my life went spiraling into oblivion. During the era of turmoil in the Philippines when Ferdinand Marcos became President a man who escaped to America made my life hell. I have written about Women of the Bible. I connected the stories of the women of the Bible who were raped to my story, because I was raped. Then this man who was the father of the daughter kidnapped her. Again, this is a true story. Remember this is a story of turmoil and deceit. Remember this is drama. This is NOT a story as inspiring as those I have written before. But for the sake of those who know me, those who want to know the real me must know about me. My friends need to know about what I went through. And if this can help anyone who is going through something similar, then may it be a lesson. Yes, a lesson, for I am still a teacher. In the writing I included three rapes that happened during Biblical times, Tamar-King David's, Dinah one of Abraham's daughters and an unnamed concubine. We can learn from the Bible. What we need to focus on is on moving on. One of my friends in a similar situation had an abortion. I did not, I had a child after being raped. I did not give up the child for abortion. You may ask why and when you read my story you will note: that was not an option. I felt that if I wrote this story my life may be at risk, but the monster is dead. I have had nightmares about other consequences, but I need to share this with women around the world for as long as you have life you have life. And in each of our lives we have hope. When we hold on to hope no matter how many times life hits you hard you fight back. Like the story of Job in the Bible. I share some quotes from the story of Job. I found a great Anglican Church. I feel at peace now. I had another pregnancy and I had another daughter. I felt God blessed me and her. God is my everything I praise God every day. I pray every day. And I pray for others. I have learned how to forgive and that is important to me. I conclude the story with some positive thoughts. I would like to share my story. It is about time. "Me too "
