Dated but in-depth

This is a facinating look into lobster fishing as practiced on the Maine Coast and at the animals and their habitat. The edition I read was updated in the 1970s from the original 1960s copy-right. So some of the ideas suggested in the book have been examined and discarded or adopted since; such as conversion from wood to wire cage traps. This is a must read for anyone wanting to go beyond lobster basics. It answers the unfrequently asked questions and many you haven't thought of.
