Our end goal is to glorify God through declaring Jesus Christ so that by all means we can save some! (1 Cor. 9:22) About-Face Missions is committed to being a tool in the hand of God on mission to connect western Believers with the Global church in need. We are led to go where we can best steward the gifts entrusted to us by Him and to have the greatest impact in helping the Church reach the world for Christ. Our vision as a para-church ministry is to partner with indigenous Gospel workers and to send ministers who are diligently following Christ's commands to reach the world and make disciples and to love others with compassionate care. Secondly we work to bond together the Church with these faithful missionaries and pastors to complete the works God has called us all to do together in unity.We live in a different age of technology like never seen before in the history of man. The world through the internet, cell phone proliferation and social media has both become smaller and larger than ever before! Smaller in that our neighbors are no longer just the people next door or down the road, but today are in the next country, or next continent or around the other side of the globe! Humans have been joined together from all nations in unprecedented ways, and relationships are being forged never possible because of technology and the global adoption of English as the language of commerce. Likewise the Body of Christ is more connected and more aware. This makes the world much larger in the tasks ahead. Today the Church is able to see, hear, feel and touch more of the humanity that covers all the world. Now we can reach people never thought possible before and help meet needs in more immediate real time. Truly God has granted us a gift with modern technology. This is our time Church! The immediacy of Christ's return seems all the more perceivable. It seems as though God has orchestrated it all 'for such a time as this'. Let's rise up and sacrifice deeply and "since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off every encumbrance and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with endurance the race set out for us." (Heb 12:1) Today AFM is helping those who are working in Kenya, Uganda, Philippines, Nepal, India, Pakistan, Peru and SE Asia through our continued support of former co-founder Jim.
