Abigail is a short story that is inspired by the stylistic and literary characteristics of J.D. Salinger's Franny and Zooey, A Perfect Day for Bananafish, and Teddy. Abigail, the main character, is a teenage girl who has lost her way and is not sure if she will ever be able to find her true self again. The story follows her as she endures struggles with her family and the readers see how Abigail interacts with a stranger that she meets.
