Good educational book

This review is for boardbook and not paperback. This is a great educational book for children from age 1 yrs. Initially the pictures and the sliding windows attract a lot of attention and my child loved to have the pictures named .And now at 16 and 1/2 months she can identify A-G and state the corresponding picture name. I know, this sounds like rote-learning and many will criticize me for that but I am proud of my little one. I intend to use it similar to the "baby can read" theory for sight words . but I am sure even parents who do not follow this philosophy will find good use of this book. The book is very sturdy and passed the test of a toddler trying to pull out the sliding windows. of course I was very lucky and happened to see this book in the sale at a local library and got it virtually free and it was used previously. So I needed to duct tape some part of it but even then it is holding very well. I will purchase this again if the binding gives out in a few months.
